There’s a new CSS book published in a few weeks. Beginning CSS Web Development is written by Simon Collison.
There are many books about CSS, but Beginning CSS Web Development is different. It provides what you need to know faster, and is completely up to date, covering the most modern CSS standards and design techniques.
There are two sample chapter downloads available on the book website. These include the Front section of the book (with Table of Contents, Foreword, Reviews etc) and Chapter 15 on ‘Tips, Tricks and Troubles’.
The sample for Chapter 15 is particularly good and it describes a great CSS method for image rollovers (get rid of your old JavaScript version!). The sample also discusses CSS hacks and it was good to see that IE conditional comments are mentioned. Conditional comments are much better than hacks IMO.

All in all, Beginning CSS Web Development looks like a worthy addition to any CSS bookshelf!
