I've written an introductory article about ecommerce and setting up an online shop on Pacifica Training. It's called A Guide to Ecommerce for Small Business and is intended for anyone who is thinking about an online shop for their company.
The article consists of a few points that I think are useful to consider for anyone who is thinking about ecommerce. It comes from my own experience working with ecommerce websites over the last 4-5 years.
I also wanted to promote the use of Ecommerce Templates as an online shop software package for web designers and developers. It really is an excellent ecommerce framework that can adapted to many different situations and integrated into just about any website design.
I really enjoyed writing the article although it took a bit longer than I anticipated. I think I need to add 'Write More Articles' to my New Year resolutions.
