Firefox 1.5 released

Posted in on 1 December 2005

Firefox has come a long way in a short time and it's great for browsing. We really like tabbed browsing and the web developer features (thanks to those third party extensions). It makes our web surfing experience so much better.

Now, there's a new version of Firefox and it has some other great features including:

  • Drag and drop reordering for browser tabs - arrange your tabs in groups.
  • Faster browser navigation.
  • Support for the latest web standards CSS 2 and CSS 3, and JavaScript 1.6.

There's even a 'report a broken site' wizard. It enables you to report websites that do not work with Firefox!

Depending on who you believe, it's now true that Firefox has 5% to 10% of the browser market. No wonder Microsoft got their skates on with the forthcoming IE7!
