In recent weeks, I have been using Campaign Monitor to manage a small email newsletter for one of my own websites. I have to say I'm impressed. Campaign Monitor provides an easy-to-use interface which makes it a snap to set-up subscriber sign-ups from your website, import subscribers, design and import HTML and/or text content for the emails, and send campaigns. Best of all, it provides detailed statistics for each and every campaign you send.

Previously, I had used some free desktop software to manage my subscriber list and send emails. It worked pretty well and I was mostly satisfied with it. However, there were no statistics provided and it was a bit of a mystery whether the emails were being read or not. I figured that I needed to know more and Campaign Monitor came to the rescue.

So far, I am learning a lot more about the emails I send and the pricing has been very reasonable. The extra information and smooth interface of Campaign Monitor make the costs worthwhile (even for my small minimal income website). The cost of each email is $5 plus 1 cent per recipient for emails with more than five recipients. Emails to less than five recipients are free. There is also a bulk buying discount.

Campaign Monitor is a great web application. Why not try it yourself....?
