Make your own podcasts with Huffduffer
I often discover audio files on the web that I just don’t have time to listen to at the time. What I need is an easy mechanism of saving them so that I can listen later. I think I have found the website that does just that.
Huffduffer is a website that enables anyone to save audio files to their own podcast of ‘found sounds’ ready for listening. Once created, you can add your podcast to iTunes for downloading onto your iPod or you can subscribe to anyone else’s podcasts (these are just RSS feeds in fact) on Huffduffer.
Huffduffer takes the pain out of podcasting found sounds. Huffduffing on the web is a way of pin-pointing interesting MP3 files.

Huffduffer provides a simple bookmarklet that enables you to ‘Huffduff’ the audio file when you find one you like. I have been mainly adding web design audio files to my own podcast on Huffduffer so far but you can add any audio file that you like.

Huff-What? Apparently, the word Huffduffer is derived from the acronym HF-DF which is a triangulation method that uses two or more radio receivers to find the bearings of a radio transmitter.

What a great idea, I will be using Huffduffer! What is the maximum file size that can be uploaded as a podcast?

There is no maximum file size requirement because the audio files you find are not uploaded. Huffduffing the file adds the mp3 file URL to Huffduffer and to your own RSS feed [aka podcast] which you can then subscribe to [in iTunes for example].
