An earlier post described Del.icio.us and how it can be used as a search engine. In the article, it was interesting to speculate about user bookmarks as a way of rating website search results. In fact, Seekum does just that!
Seekum is a ‘social search engine’ that uses a combination of search engine results and public bookmarking websites as its source of search results. It also has a ‘WeRank’ function that allows users to provide a rating for each website. Higher rated websites will be higher in the listings. The user has the last say!
Interesting idea.
